Viewing the images on the website

The images on your screen are displayed from small digital files of low resolution, so that an image loads quickly on a website.  Most computer monitors can display images at a maximum resolution of 70 dots per inch. That low resolution website image file also loses some color, depth, and details during conversion from the master image file.  Therefore, the web images are not able to convey all the information contained in the master image.

VIEWING THE IMAGES ON A museum quality PRINT

The large master image is converted to a large print file created for each individual print size.  The images are printed professionally at a museum quality resolution of 300 dots per inch (3 to 4 times the resolution seen on a monitor), and with a larger color palette than a monitor can display.  Whether printing on paper, canvas, or metal, the large printed image reveals a depth, detail, and realism that can’t be seen on the monitor.

The visual information in the high quality print is maximized with the optimum lighting on the print. Upon receipt, take your print outdoors into the direct sunlight and marvel at what a fine print can reveal.  In your house or business, the more light you shine on your print, the more enjoyment it will give.
